Jurassic Park IV Forecast: 2-3 Years According to Spielberg
Steven Spielberg dropped a bomb at Comic-Con this past weekend, giving a forecast that Jurassic Park 4 will in fact happen, hopefully within a timeframe of 2-3 years.
“Jurassic Park 4 has a story,” he revealed. “We have a writer, and we’re hoping to make Jurassic Park 4 within the next two or three years.”

There are no details of who the mystery writer is or even the slightest detail, but he gave us just enough to tease us. Jurassic Park is the 12th highest grossing movie franchise of all-time, earning a total of $1.9 billion between the three installments (CNBC).
Jurassic Park (1993) – Rotten Tomatoes: 88%/Metacritic: 68/Box Office – $914.7 million
The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) – Rotten Tomatoes: 51%/Metacritic: 59/Box Office – $618.6 million
Jurassic Park III (2001) – Rotten Tomatoes: 50%/Metacritic: 42/Box Office – $368.8 million
The first two films were directed by Spielberg, but the last installment was led by ‘Captain America’ director Joe Johnston. The fact of the matter is that people love Spielberg and people love dinosaurs. Whenever this 4th installment of the Jurassic Park series is unleashed, it will without a doubt be a booming success.
